When the full moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival meets the red flag of the National Day, the beautiful atmosphere of family reunion and national celebration lingers in every corner. However, safety hazards during festivals are often diluted by joy, especially home safety and travel safety, which are a line of defense for safeguarding reunion. To ensure everyone has a peaceful and harmonious holiday, please keep this targeted safety tip in mind.

The parking and charging of electric vehicles have been the top priorities for home safety in recent years. With the popularity of electric vehicles, fire accidents caused by illegal parking and charging are not uncommon. As the "lifeline" of residential buildings, once the corridor is occupied by electric bikes, it will not only hinder escape and rescue in emergency situations, but also cause problems such as overheating and short circuit of the electric bike batteries during charging, which may lead to fires. High temperatures and thick smoke will fill the entire corridor in a short time, posing a huge threat to the lives and property of residents. Therefore, resolutely preventing electric bikes from being parked or charged in the corridors, parking them in the outdoor charging areas of the community, and charging them with regular charging piles are important measures to safeguard the safety of our home.

In addition to the safety of electric vehicles, the "Three Clearances and Three Closures" are the core points of home fire prevention and can be regarded as the "golden rule" for home safety. The "Three Clearances" refer to clearing the kitchen, the balcony and the corridor. The kitchen is a frequently used area for fire and electricity in a household. During festivals, cooking activities increase. If the grease and flammable debris near the stove are not cleaned up in time, they can easily cause fires when exposed to open flames. As the "extended space" of a home, the balcony must not be piled up with flammable items such as cardboard boxes and old furniture to avoid becoming a "booster" for the spread of fire. As a public escape route, the corridor must always remain unobstructed. It is strictly prohibited to pile up sundries or park vehicles to ensure that the "lifeline" is not blocked in an emergency.

The "three shuts" refer to turning off the gas, the power supply and closing the doors and Windows. Gas leakage is an "invisible killer" to home safety. After each cooking, be sure to check if the gas valve is closed. Before going out during festivals, make sure to double-check to prevent gas leakage from causing explosions or poisoning accidents. During festivals, the frequency of electrical appliance usage is high. When going out, it is advisable to turn off the power of non-essential electrical appliances. This not only saves electricity but also prevents electrical appliances from overheating due to prolonged standby and causing fires. Doors and Windows are the "first line of defense" for home security. Closing them properly before going out can effectively prevent theft incidents and add a "protective lock" to the safety of family property.

Peace is a warm blessing during festivals. Protection is a promise to a happy reunion. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, may every family remain vigilant about safety, keep safety tips in mind, eliminate potential safety hazards, and let laughter and joy always be by your side. May peace and happiness go hand in hand with the festivals!
